A Festive Fish-filled Fund-raiser!
Next Thursday: New Yorkers are in for a four-course feast at Jimmy’s 43, hosted by Ben Conniff of Luke’s Lobster. On offer will be a happy mix of responsibly-sourced North Atlantic seafood, donated by Downeast Dayboat Scallops, Luke’s Lobster, Bangs Island Mussels, Baldor Specialty Foods and Sir Kensington’s.
While all fish will be sourced locally, Conniff’s cooking will be internationally influenced. Dishes will range from Yemeni Shrimp Matfi to Cambodian Seared scallop Num Pang, and Turkish Stuffed Mussels, and are sure to trigger a worldly indulgence of all your senses.
If eating seafood responsibly wasn’t delicious enough, you can also feel good as you feed yourself, as 100% of ticket sales will be donated to the ACLU, to protect the rights of immigrants and refugees.
